Fun Family Pics

My grandfather's 90th birthday party was in June. I just saw the pictures of the party at my mom's this weekend. Here are a few good ones below. We haven't gotten a good pic of the three of us in awhile.

10 Months Old!

Brayden turns 10 months old tomorrow! All I can say about him is that all he wants to do is GO, GO, GO! He is moving all of the time. We cannot keep up with him. He is into everything. I feel like his wheels are spinning constantly in that little head of his. He is so curious and observant. He watches Ryan and I and wants to imitate our actions. The only thing he wants now are our cell phones, home phone, remote controls, etc -- he no longer wants to play with his own toys. Even though he wears us out by being so busy he is a ton of fun and definately keeps us on our toes. I can't imagine what it is going to be like when he is walking! Crawling is a challenge in itself! Here are some pics from the month below:

Pappy and Mimi gave him a snoopy golf club set. He is still a bit to young for it but he has fun playing with the clubs and balls.

The golf balls have become a favorite. He puts one in each hand and crawls around the house with them.

The bunny in his hand has become his "lovie" - he carries it around with him and sleeps with it at night. He chews on the ears and hands.

Trouble with a capital T! Do I look like a kid that's ready for bed???

We were getting ready for bed one night and in my bathroom. He likes to move around my vanity stool. He found himself in this position. Being the mom that wants to capture every moment - I grabbed the camera. I promise I did not keep him here long.

Haircut time again! This time it didn't go so well...he did not enjoy it at all. I guess he did not like the tractor that she put him in.

You can tell by his face - he isn't into it.

Because he likes his bunny so much, I started worrying he was going to chew it to death or we might lose it so I ordered two more for reserve. When we got them in the mail and showed him - his face lit up. He carried one bunny in each hand for the rest of the day. It was cracking us up.

I think this was after spaghetti one night. Clearly he liked it.

He found himself in another precarious position...he didn't seem to mind this as much as the vanity stool. See what I mean??? Busy, busy!

Happy Birthday Cooper!

This weekend our nephew Cooper turned 2! His birthday party was on Saturday - it was a PJ and pancake party. I had a job interview at the DMA and Ryan had a game so we had to miss it

EMILY IN TOWN!

Emily was in town a few weeks ago! Or should I say DR. EMILY was in town? Emily graduated this summer with her PhD in Psychology. She has worked so many years to complete this dream of hers - I am so proud of you Em! She is now going to work in New York for a hospital helping counsel children with cancer and their families. Sounds like a challenging job but one I know she can tackle. Growing up together I have always looked up to her because she always was miss smarty-pants. :) Anyways, she came in town to visit while she was on a month long vacation before she starts her new job. A few of us met over at Betsy's one afternoon to catch up. Emily took some pictures and sent them to me so I thought I would post some of them. There are some cute ones. It was great to see you Emily - hope to see you again soon. xoxo
