6 MONTHS OLD!

It's hard to believe our little man is 6 months old on Friday. Brayden is changing so much on a daily basis. He is such a fun age. He smiles, laughs, and blows bubbles all of the time. We constantly are cracking up at the little things he does. He is getting close to being able to sit up. He wants to grab anything and everything close to him and put it in his mouth. No teeth yet but we are still waiting! Here are some recent photos:
Uncle David came for a visit. He is taking bottles like a champ now!
Me and my friend Grady. He didn't seem too interested in playing with me. He was tired. I know we will be playing before too long. :) I love my new teething toy Aunt Kamilia gave me.
I love this exercauser. I can play in it now all by myself.
Just waking up from a nap.
Chilling watching TV with Mommy.
Rolling around on the bed.
The wind swept hair look.
I love daddy's phone almost as much as he does. :)
Hanging with daddy.

Springtime Planting!

We had some plants and flowers planted today in our front yard. Ryan left for Canada this morning for a work trip and wanted me to send him pics of the finished result. He can only get pictures via the blog on his phone. So here ya go honey! It looks so good! It's amazing how some new landscaping freshens up our yard. Have a good trip. We miss you already :)

Girls Weekend to Colorado

Last weekend I went to Colorado for a girls weekend away. My friend Meredith's in-laws have a home outside of Winter Park and graciously let us stay there for the weekend. This has become an annual trip - last year was the first year - but I was unable to go last year because we were living in Ohio and I was pregnant. I was so glad I could go this year! About 8 of us went on the trip - all of these girls are lifetime friends. It was so nice to be able to catch up, hear about everyone's kiddos, laugh and reminisce about old memories and make new memories at the same time. Betsy made a fun video to share of photos that included high school, college, post-college, weddings and all of our kids. It truly showed how we have been through every life experience together. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends. I look forward to next year. Here are some photos from the weekend.....

Beautiful views of the mountains.
Another gorgeous view
We cooked yummy meals every night. It was nice and relaxing!
Celebrating Melanie's birthday.
Tracy and me after our spa day.
Tracy and me cooking dinner Saturday night.
Me and Nathalie. It was so good to see her! She came in from California.
Tracy and Caren smile for the camera.
Backyard view. (During the summer this is a golf course)
Lots of snow!
Beautiful home we stayed in for the weekend!

Bring on the Toys!

Brayden turns 5 months old on Tuesday (hard to believe!). Now that he is getting a little older he is really starting to play with all of his toys. It's fun to watch him interact and get into them all. Most everything goes into his mouth but he seems to have fun. Thought I would post a few pics...

The jumper - I know he looks a bit wobbly - but he loves to stand so this way Ryan or I don't have to constantly hold him standing in our laps.

He looks like such a little guy sitting in his chair. Cracks me up.
Tummy time! All he wants to do is roll over now to his tummy but then he can't roll back over so he gets really frustrated. He has started doing this at night too in his crib - no fun going into his room a couple of times a night to roll him back over. :) Babies are such funny creatures.
I am puckered out.
Getting his Easter basket from Nanny! He loves his new puppy dog. Funny that will probably be the closest thing he gets to owning a dog. :)
Exersaucer - I have to pack pillows into the seat with him but all of the toys around him are so stimulating. I feel like its a mini Disneyworld for him.

My Little Angel

We went over to Ryan's parents this afternoon for a visit. It got to be bedtime so we headed home and Brayden fell asleep in the car. I had to take this picture because he looked so peaceful and content in his little car seat. I didn't want to wake him up to feed him and get him in bed! I love to watch him when he is sleeping. He looks like such an angel. As you can see, he is holding onto his favorite blanket and his favorite toy "ducky" is nearby. Anyways, I had to share the photo with you all.
I attached a few more pics from the week below....
Relaxing and watching TV with Daddy.
His expression breaks my heart here! This was the day after 4 month shots and he had just woken up from a nap so he doesn't look like a happy camper. But it's still a sweet photo.
Back to happy boy! Here he is being a silly willy.

4 Months Old

Brayden turns 4 months old on Monday. Here are a few recent photos.
Wearing a Manchester United jersey, Daddy's favorite team.
Dad is so proud of him in this outfit.
This was his shirt for Super Bowl Sunday.
We have started grasping objects and putting them in our mouth!
Check out his blue eyes! I can't believe he is going to be a blue-eyed baby - I had high hopes he would have my brown eyes - but they are so pretty.
A day at the park one sunny warm Sunday afternoon.

Aunt Kaylee came too!
So much fun being outside. Can't wait for spring and summer.
He is really starting to move more. He rolls up into a ball, moves his arms and kicks his legs everywhere, and yesterday started rolling over from his tummy to his back and is almost rolling over from his back to his tummy! It's amazing how fast they grow and develop.

Fun photo with Pappy and Mimi after going to dinner last weekend.
He is into sticking out his tongue and blowing bubbles.

If it's not a toy in his mouth - it's his feet. He's definately found his feet!
This does not look physically possible - but he can do it! :)
