January

Hello! It's been awhile since I last posted. January was a busy month. Brayden is doing great --- still growing like a weed. It is hard to believe he is 15 1/2 months already. He is now running around the house, rather than walking. His little personality is really coming through - he is such a sweet natured child but also extremely strong willed. When he puts his mind to something there is no stopping him. His current favorites are going outside, watching the Wiggles, playing with puzzles and snacking on anything he can get his hands on. Oh and another new favorite is putting objects in the trash. We have found some fun things in our trash can: cordless phone, socks. My dad found his coasters and their cat's comb in their trash after Brayden had been over there. He is so fun and we love every day watching him change and grow. Here are some pics from the last month or so...enjoy!

All smiles!
There used to be a time when he would not allow us to put shoes on him but now we can't get him to take his shoes off!
Distracted by the TV.
This is a face begging to swing.
He loves to swing...he cries when we try to take him out.

Always holding onto his bunny...
Sweet face.
PJ's and what else? Shoes of course.
Playing with his puzzle in his playhouse.
Now I will try on Mommy's houseshoes.
So handsome.
This is his first attempt at eating a whole apple.
Playing outside. He wanted to pick up all of the acorns.
So fun!

Swinging again! We have enjoyed having nice weather a few days.
Daddy helping push the swing.
We are so lucky to have a small park down the street that we can walk to.

He feels so big getting to crawl all over the playground. (I try not to be too nervous)

Playing with his soccer ball.
Walking back home.
Relaxing on the couch.

My Girls

This photo was taken a little after Christmas - a bunch of my dear friends got together for a lunch to catch up and hear about everyone's holiday. My friend Emily (in town from NY) took this photo and sent it to all of us - I thought I would post it.

Christmas Pics

Hello to all. Happy New Year! Here are some photos from the holiday season. I am a bit delayed on posting them. We had a wonderful Christmas. Ryan and I recovered from the flu (yuck.) right in time for Christmas day. I was off almost a full week and enjoyed every minute spending time with Ryan and Brayden and the rest of the family. Brayden was so much fun this year - I still do not think he really knew it was Christmas but he enjoyed waking up to fun toys and having everyone over on Christmas morning.
The Christmas season started off with Breakfast with Santa at the Wagner's house. Brayden was not such a fan of Santa this year - as you can see in the photo. Maybe next year!?!?!?
A pensive little guy taking a break from playing on the bounce house.
Sliding with Daddy.
I was able to catch him for a moment....
...but he is back on the go...once he started walking he pretty much never stops.
Brayden and Daddy.
Christmas morning...he got an indoor playgym (thanks Nanny and Grandaddy!) and his own table and chairs.
I love this pic...you can see how excited he is!
Peering through his new playgym.
My brother David and my Dad enjoying some time together Christmas morning.
Having fun sitting at his new table.
Pappy and Mimi got him a big chair for the den. Here he is sitting in it and busy watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (one of his favorite new shows). His little feet crack me up.
My nephew Cooper opening up a fun gift.

13 1/2 months!

It's been awhile since I have last posted. Guess working has slowed me down. Well, we now have a toddler that is fully walking! It's amazing how fast they go from first steps to completely walking. It took about two weeks or so. I thought keeping up with a crawler was difficult but the walker takes the cake. I don't think the child ever wants to sit down anymore. He's a ton of fun. His personality emerges each day and he is a funny one. We are always laughing at the little things he does. He also has started kissing. We ask him to give us a kiss and he will lean in and kiss you. It's probably the sweetest thing I have ever experienced. The first time he did it I don't think my heart has ever been that full. Anyways, here are a few pics from the past month or two. Enjoy! Happy Holidays to all!

Playing outside on a fall day.
Being silly.
A mac and cheese night. Clearly this dinner made him happy.
Playing outside by the creek.
Nice family pic - don't get many of these very often.
He loved playing with the mini pumpkins this fall. Who ever said kids needs toys???
He loves crawling under things.
Thanksgiving at Ryan's parents.
Getting some sugar from Aunt Kaylee.
Looking at his Christmas tree.
Brayden's Christmas tree!
This particular day he found his closet to be a fun place to play. We put the wooden blocks up and down on the shelf for about an hour or so.
