FOUR

Our sweet boy turned 4 this week. So hard to believe 4 whole years have passed already. Brayden has grown into such an amazing little boy: he is incredibly smart, learning more and more each day; inquisitive about EVERYTHING at the moment: what time is it? what word is that? what planet do we live on? on and on...he has a very sweet spirit, always telling us he loves us and loves to give hugs and kisses, can be challenging at times - extremely hard headed, but what 4 year old isn't challenging??? All in all he is such a joy and it was so fun celebrating his 4th birthday. We celebrated at Pump it Up - he had been telling us for months that he wanted his birthday party there, so that is where it had to be! This place is crazytown for kids; full of bouncehouses and basically a place where children can run around for two hours and bounce and play. He had a blast with all of his little friends and we enjoyed watching him so happy.

Happy Birthday Brayden. We love you SO much - you are so precious and we are so proud of you!

Arboretum - Pumpkin Village

Brayden and I headed down to the Arboretum this morning for a mommy/son playdate :) I had been wanting to take him to see all of the pumpkins they have right now for the fall. We had a great time. There was a huge storm last night that came through so I was a bit nervous it might be muddy but it was fine and it turned out to be a really pretty afternoon. We played around the pumpkins, had a picnic with a view of White Rock Lake, and Brayden played barefoot in a fountain. Lots of pics below:

State Fair of Texas 2011

We took our annual trip to the fair last week...fun as always. Yummy food, fun activities, beautiful fall weather. One of my favorite things to do every year. Here are a few pics:

First stop: Fletcher's for a corny dog, of course.
Brayden trying out a new Corvette
We borrowed the cousins wagon - complete lifesaver now that he won't go in a stroller anymore.
First taste of cotton candy - total hit!

Don't I know it with my picky eater!

Midway!
