2008 US Nationals
Ryan was in Little Rock, Arkansas this week for the 2008 US Soccer National Championships. Both of Ryan's teams made it to the finals. Ryan's parents and I drove up to Little Rock yesterday so we could watch the big games today. BOTH of Ryan's teams WON! The 91 girls ended up in double overtime and the game was decided in penalty kicks. The 92 girls won 4-2. It was so exciting. I was so proud of Ryan and his girls. They did awesome and it proved all of their hard work this year paid off. Two other Dallas Texans teams won as well which made a total of 4 National championships this year - making them the first club to win 4 in one year. What an amazing accomplishment.
